CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Accredited Snow Contractors Association (ASCA) and Snow Magazine have announced the 2nd Annual Snow and Ice Show, an industry event focused on education, certification, networking, and the latest snowfighting tools for increased efficiency and profitability.

The Snow and Ice Show will take place May 1-3, 2018 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut. This comprehensive conference will provide the snow and ice management market with the opportunity for ASCA in-classroom certification; industry-specific, high-quality educational programming; and elite peer-to-peer networking opportunities. The event unites manufacturers, suppliers, and snow and ice management professionals for 2½ days of education, networking and a trade show.

“The response to last year’s show was tremendous,” says Kevin Gilbride, ASCA Executive Director. “The ASCA and Snow Magazine realize industry members want these types of easily accessible, high-value events to further their knowledge and help their businesses, which is why we’re excited to bring the show back in 2018.”

The Snow and Ice Show’s educational programming is focused on the modern principles of successful snow and ice management – managing risk, reducing insurance rates, and reducing bogus slip-and-fall claims. The show is geared toward industry leaders and those who wish to become industry change agents, as well as for peer-to-peer discussions on real-world business issues.

The ASCA and Snow Magazine are working in conjunction to finalize the educational speaker lineup, and announcements will be made in the upcoming weeks. However, educational topics and themes will include:

  • Property Conditions
