You see, last year we may have strayed a bit from what we do the best. In an effort to bring as much value as possible to our audience, we scheduled Executive Summit and the Snow Show, a separate conference and trade show, to take place consecutively over the course of one week in Pittsburgh. The experience proved what we anticipated for some time: the conference areas, networking opportunities and educational sessions were home-run events; the trade show is unnecessary.
This year we’ve revamped our approach to focus on both levels of education. Executive Summit will be held concurrent with Snow Show’s educational seminars July 29-31. We are finalizing the location and anticipate announcing the exact location very soon.
We will continue to hold and structure Executive Summit in its traditional format. Summit will kick off at 5 p.m. with a networking reception to follow. High-level educational sessions will be held from 8 am-Noon on Thursday and Friday, with our annual Leadership Awards Ceremony and Top 100 Awards scheduled for Thursday evening. However, a separate room located nearby will host our Snow Show educational sessions, which begins on Wednesday afternoon and conclude at Noon on Friday.
Attendees can choose between having access to just the Snow Show educational seminars, or all of education taking place in both the Executive Summit and Snow Show rooms. Regardless, all attendees have access to quality time with industry peers during the various networking opportunities. A detailed schedule, to be released in the coming days, will outline this concept for the events in greater detail.
We are excited this year to focus our efforts for Executive Summit and Snow Show on what attendees expect and what we excel at providing – quality, thought-provoking education and unparalleled networking opportunities.
I look forward to seeing you in July!
