The 2022 Executive Summit provided the right mix of education, networking, and celebration for for those in the professional snow and ice community.

September 21, 2022

With the Atlantic Ocean as a scenic backdrop and amongst the faint din of Jimmy Buffet tunes, this year’s Executive Summit couldn’t have been a better place to rest, boost one’s professional acumen, reacquaint with old friends, and make many new ones. This year’s event took place Aug. 29-31 at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach, Fla.

The educational events ran the gamut from financial to team building and included a few first-time topics like mitigating one’s exposure to cybercriminals. Snow professionals had ample time to network with one another, whether at a cocktail reception, pool-side bar or from the beach.

However, Executive Summit’s marque event continues to be the second evening’s Leadership and Top 100 banquet. It’s here where the professional snow and ice community gathers to honor excellence among this year’s class of Leadership Award recipients, as well as those who earned their place on the annual Top 100 list.

Best Wishes! This was certainly a first for Executive Summit. Mr. Winter Services Josh Prozoki took advantage of Florida idyllic location to propose to his girlfriend, Christina. Congratulations to both Josh and Christina. While a date hasn’t been set, is it too far out of the question to wonder if next year’s Executive Summit could be the site for this happy couple’s future nuptials?
Happy Retirement. Executive Summit was Douglas Dynamics’ Mark Adamson’s last order of business before he headed into retirement. Summit attendees saluted the long-time industry leader at the annual Leadership and Top 100 Awards Banquet. The vice president of sales and marketing made many contributions during his tenure. His support of the industry was great, and he will certainly be missed. Hopefully, he’ll stop in for a visit at future Executive Summits.
