More snow industry M&A news, and this time Eliot, Maine-based Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service has purchased North Hampton, NH-based Design & Landscapes by Labrie Associates. The move gives Piscataqua a third location and strengthens its presence in the trendy Seacoast Region, New Hampshire's southeast area that includes the eastern portion of Rockingham County and the southern portion of Strafford County.

As of Aug. 1, the Labrie staff joined Piscataqua to ensure a smooth transition and keep the teams in place for all existing Labrie Associates clientele. "It was extremely important that my team be taken care of, and this fit was right for all of us,” said former Labrie owner Mick Sheffield in a statement

We are thrilled to have this team of experienced and skilled landscapers join our crew.

The acquisition was positive for both parties and Labrie's existing portfolio of clients, said Justin Gamester, Piscataqua's President & CEO, who added he is thrilled to have the an experienced and skilled crew of landscape professionals join his team. "Mick and I have known each other for a long time," Gamester said in a statement. "And it is an honor to be entrusted by someone that has long been involved in the industry.”
