No, Ram and Jeep have not entered the snowplow or salt spreader businesses. However, beginning this fall, Ram and Jeep owners can equip their vehicles with a Meyer snow plow and spreader branded with the Ram and Jeep logos. Meyer Products has been named the official licensed plows and spreaders of Jeep and Ram trucks and SUVs.
“We are proud of the fact that Meyer is the first company in the industry to be awarded a license by two of the top vehicle manufacturers in the world," said Marcus Scherer, Meyer CEO, in a statement. "Ram and Jeep plows and spreaders are available for homeowners, independent contractors and fleet purchasers.”
Engineered and manufactured by Meyer in the US, the plows and spreaders will prominently feature the Ram and Jeep logos. The Meyer logo does appear on the hydraulic cover and it may appear on the angling arms, according to the company, but it will not appear on the front of the plow.
